MUCH ADO ABOUT NEW YEARS RESOLUTION

It is only fair to talk about New Year’s resolution because this the first post for this year, so I will say happy New Year (covers face). At the end of the year 2013, I had a working idea of how my year would be like so as 2014 came, I had armed myself with different resolutions which I would run with throughout the year.
I did everything right, I thought long and hard about the resolution, how I will go about it, what will I need to make it work , you name it I thought of it. But the first quarter of the year is coming to an end and wait for it….drum roll… I have not achieved or even attempted one, the book I wrote it on is nowhere to be found.
I know *rolls eyes*, everyone I tell is shaking their head at me, but I know I am not alone in my fool’s paradise; we are many out there and it cuts across tribes, race and even continents because the abandonment of new year’s resolution before the end of the first quarter of the year is a known phenomenon, but what is the essence of my endless ramble I hear you ask? Just wait I am getting there soon.
I just found a way to combat mine, how? You ask, I will tell you…… *reshuffling* is the key to your problem. If you are like me and you can procrastinate for Africa then this is for you. First you reshuffle your goals by putting the ones with the shortest time frame first, if anyone involves spending money like mine does pick the one with less money to spend and lastly just do it, go for it, it’s your life, it’s for your own improvement, think of how it would be beneficial to you and don’t over think it, Just do it.
Everyone wants to feel that they have done something with their life, albeit how little it is, you don’t want to look back at 2014 and say *chai I should have don’t that oh or you see someone living your dream because you didn’t follow your resolutions. Me I am taking a leaf from my book and facing mine by writing this random thot and posting it.

Don’t allow someone else live your life, get up and face your resolutions……. Till next time… keep hope alive.

Porn, and all the other things nobody struggles with

Its been quite a while I stopped by this zone, I recently had a conversation with someone about blogging and suddenly I had the urge to come here. This is an article from one of my favorite blogs at the moment and the article really got me thinking about some issues that Christians don't talk about...enjoy  About 5 years ago, I attended this christian program where the man of God  made a categorical statement. “Everyone here struggles with sexual temptations, in one way or the other. Get used to it. Get comfortable talking about it. The hold that struggle has over you is its secrecy”. The ’emphasis on the words ‘everyone’ and ‘struggles’ are mine. But those words struck me rather forcibly at the time. Everyone? Struggle? Like it’s a real live problem for everyone? Let me give you a little perspective. I had been a christian for a while and was just fresh out of University. Sexual struggles had hitherto been reserved for those ‘bad boys turned Jesus boys’ that had had a sin

Frustration of the working class...JETBLUE example

earlier this week a flight attendant let out his frustration at an obnoxious passenger who was rude to him and he fled the plane, but was later arrested but granted bail. while airline pays the passengers on that flight "compensation" for their troubles saying it's their policy. now the is agog with various sites praising him, immortalizing, dramatization of the whole incidence. this situation has now brought to fore the inevitable question, what happened? that the working class is lashing out, people don't respect honest working individuals, places of employment have become graveyards of dreams and aspirations...........hmmm all these make stop and ponder on what the future holds for us, because if this can happen in America;the supposed most powerful nation in the world?! I wonder what is happening in our 'developing" nation? just my thots

Become a Super Saving Style Diva! 6 Great Tips for Shopping Smart & Spending Less

Ever since I started paying for things with my ATM card, life has seemed to be a breeze. They ask you for your card, you hand it over, punch in a few numbers and that gorgeous skirt is all yours. The feeling is empowering. But something that doesn't make me feel so good is when I get the bank account status alert on my phone. At that point I’m looking at the receipts going “How the hell did I spend so much today?” Well after one too many mini-brain aneurysms, I decided I was going to start shopping smart. What is the use of buying a great item and regretting it later? So that’s what we will be doing today, figuring out how to shop smart. First of all I know that sometimes the little voice in your head overshadows logic and tell you having a sequined skirt in 5 colors is an investment into your future, but sometimes you need to shut that voice up and think smart. These tips are not set in stone, but they have helped me a whole lot to get the best value for my money. Buy Ch
